Jack Jack

Jack 8 is an OR due to family circumstances. He is 8 years old, 13 inches, 14 pounds, now UTD and neutered, heartworm/fecal negative. Jack had a large perineal hernia which was repaired via surgery at a specialty clinic. He is recovering nicely and should be available for adoption ~2/14.

From his foster mom: What a very brave little guy! Jack has been a wonderful guest and is very easy to care for. He is house trained and crate trained, and eats with great gusto! He gets along with the other Shelties in the household, and so far has ignored the cat. One of his funny behaviors is to get very excited at certain noises, like the vacuum cleaner or getting ice out of the ice maker or shaking out a trash bag—he runs in circles and barks. Other than that, he’s a pretty quiet fellow. He follows his person around the house, and has enjoyed sleeping on my bed with the resident Sheltie and the cat. Overall, he is agreeable, doesn’t bark a lot, and is a very easygoing dog. He seems to like everyone he meets. Jack will make someone a friendly, devoted pet.
